Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort is an affordable beach resort that offers something for a variety of budgets, thanks to the multi-bedroom overwater villas, rustic tree houses, campsites, and tents for rent. The mid-range property is set on sprawling grounds on the western coast of Calatagan, and its three sandy beaches are one of the main attractions – even day-trippers come here. Other features include two pools and a variety of activities on offer such as water sports and tours. It’s all fairly simple and some wear and tear is visible, but spaces are kept clean and well-maintained. The two restaurants get some complaints about slow service, but breakfast is included in rates. Amenities are limited, with no TVs nor Wi-Fi in any units, so guests should be prepared to unplug.
