But this location has its pros and cons: It is nice and quiet, but most guests must arrive by car, as downtown Búzios is some 10 minutes away driving. The immediate neighborhood offers few dining or shopping options. The Ferradura beach is generally sheltered and calm, making it a solid option for families. Chairs and umbrellas are available for rent, and there are food, beer, and bikini vendors. Some kiosks offer SUP-boards and swan paddle-boats to rent as well.Búzios downtown is famous for its Rua das Pedras and Orla Bardot streets that feature fine dining, boutiques, art galleries, and night clubs. The city gets particularly crowded during the daytime in the summer when luxury ships dock in front of the small harbor.

There are also a tennis court, and an Asian-inspired spa, which has an elegant and fresh look. The spa offers various types of massage treatments, manicures, and pedicures, and it has a steam room.Family-friendly amenities include babysitting services. Laundry service is also available, and guests may park their cars in a small area in front of the hotel (on the other side of the street). The pousada offers free Wi-Fi both in public areas and in the rooms.The staff at the front desk also offers concierge services. They can assist in organizing airport transfers to Cabo Frio (with limited domestic service), or to the international (Galeão) and domestic (Santos Dumont) airports in Rio de Janeiro.
