The CasaCalma Wellness Hotel is located in busy Retiro, an area in northern Microcentro, the core of downtown Buenos Aires. It's close to two of the main thoroughfares in town, including site-packed 9 de Julio and Leandro N. Alem Avenue, which offers easy access to some tourist attractions further south such as Boca and Caminito. There are several subway lines within walking distance from the hotel, and there are lots of restaurants and bars in the immediate neighborhood.There's so much to see and do in Microcentro that some visitors never leave this area when visiting Buenos Aires. It is the core of downtown, with wonderful shopping areas like Calle Florida, tourist attractions such as Colon Theater and iconic Obelisk, entertainment venues, an interesting dining scene, and a wide array of hotels.
