Fraser Residence Budapest

The Fraser Residence is a contemporary apartment hotel with a modern, curved exterior that gives the building a unique look. The front entrance has sliding glass doors that lead to a small reception area with a dark-wood desk cluttered with tourism pamphlets in front of a wall with wood and mirrored tiles. Across from the desk are two gray couches, a flat-screen TV, a colorful painting on the wall, free newspapers, and a small bookshelf in the corner. The room is on the plain side, but feels friendly and comfortable. A narrow hallway with gray carpeting leads to a tiny lounge area with an upholstered purple bench, a computer and printer, and a small raised garden with red mulch, and shabby-looking plants.  

The hotel is located in a predominantly residential area near central Budapest. It is situated on a relatively quiet street, a short walk to many shops and restaurants as well as several museums and the university. It's walking distance to attractions such as Corvin Plaza and the Trafo House of Contemporary Arts, and is within a short driving distance of many sites.

The apartment-style rooms at the Fraser are contemporary and spacious, with light hardwood floors, modern decor and windows that let in lots of natural light. The bedrooms are large, with comfortable beds, armoires, safes, and flat-screen TVs. The apartments also have a living area with couches, washer/dryers, additional flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, desks, and dining tables. All come with fully equipped kitchens with stoves, ovens, fridges, coffeemakers, and microwaves. Most of the apartments have balconies that look out on gardens at the rear of the hotel or out onto the street. The bathrooms in the apartments have beige tiled walls, shower/tub combos, and L'Occitane toiletries. 

The hotel has a bright, charming breakfast room where guests can enjoy a buffet-style continental breakfast for a fee. Outside the breakfast room is a small patio with tables and chairs that provides additional dining space when the weather is nice. Next to the patio is a small grassy garden with lounge chairs. There are also a rooftop terrace, a computer in the lobby, free Wi-Fi, and two conference rooms available in the Penthouses. On-site garage parking is available for a fee and while there's no fitness center on-site, guests of the Fraser can use a nearby gym for a discounted rate.
