Scene
Elegant spaces for dining, drinking, and enjoying entertainment
On entering the Neoclassical building, guests are welcomed into a bright and airy lobby; a glass ceiling sheds light into exposed hallways with stone columns and decorative wrought iron rails. Rich tapestry rugs, floor-length drapes, and live piano music add a touch of elegance. There’s a variety of restaurants inside the hotel including a large breakfast buffet with seating available in a pretty atrium under a glass ceiling. Drinks are served at the hotel bar, and at the Orfeum Club connected to the hotel -- where theatrical and musical performances are held. An outdoor garden with trees, hedges, and colorful flowers creates a nice view from some of the rooms. There's also a lovely rooftop garden for relaxing, and a chic library-style room within the piano bar where guests can read with a cocktail. Kids are welcome, but the hushed and elegant ambiance is more suited to couples and business travelers.
