Bohem Art Hotel

In a beautiful stone building with wood-framed windows on a narrow street in historical downtown, the inside of Bohem Art Hotel is much more edgy than its classic exterior may suggest. The funky lobby is stylish with wood floors, black chairs, and glossy red tables. Vibrant, modern paintings ranging from abstract pieces to photorealism by Hungarian artists can be found throughout the hotel and inside the guest rooms. A remaining classic wooden staircase leads down to the chic breakfast room with sleek white tables and trendy tree-covered wallpaper. There’s a small, swanky lounge bar with purple velvet chairs and edgy purple and red wallpaper where guests can enjoy a drink.

The hotel is in a convenient location in downtown with plenty of restaurants nearby. It’s a block from the Danube River and Vaci Street, a famous pedestrian street full of shops and cafés. Castle Hill in the medieval part of the city can be reached in less than 25 minutes on public transportation (or a 10-minute drive), and St. Stephen's Basilica is less than a 10-minute drive (or about 15 minutes by public transport). Budapest Airport is less than a 30-minute drive, or an hour ride via public transportation. The Fővám tér metro station and number two tram line are within a few minutes' walk of the hotel.

Standard Rooms are modern and stylish with beautiful wood parquet floors, gray accent walls, and red and gray bedding. Sleek, white furniture and work-table lamps give the space a modern edge. The artwork, often colorful and always unique to each room, gives every accommodation a different feel.
