Hotel Amigo

Brussels, Belgium

The Rocco Forte Hotel Amigo is a luxury, 173-room property set in the historical heart of Brussels. The location could barely be more central -- just off the Grand Place and minutes' walk from several tourist attractions. Rooms are spacious with an understated luxury, though those facing the street can be prone to noise. While eating and drinking options are excellent, including high-end Italian cuisine and creative craft cocktails, spa facilities are glaringly absent for this caliber of hotel.

Pillows Grand Hotel Place Rouppe

Brussels, Belgium

This 45-room, upscale hotel has charming style, an intimate vibe, and a convenient location within 10 minutes of the main square, making it well-suited to tourists, couples, and business travelers. Guest rooms have unique wallpaper, large bathrooms, and comfortable beds. Business travelers likely appreciate the sophisticated meeting rooms, and the chance to meet with clients in the whimsically decorated lounge bar and sleek fusion restaurant. The only real downsides here are the lack of a fitness center and the pricey buffet breakfast. Wi-Fi is free throughout.

The Hotel is a fashionable 421-room high-rise that offers panoramic views, a modern spa with city views, and chic dining and cocktails. With close access to Avenue Louise, this hotel is a good match for guests with a penchant for high-end shopping (there is also an on-site jewelry boutique). Elegant black and white decor fills the stylish rooms, and amenities include wall-mounted flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers and electric kettles, and safes (though some guests complain about confusing high-tech lighting panels).
