Scene

Grand hotel with beautiful antique furnishings and fresh flowers throughout

Stepping
off a pretty cobblestone street and into the classic lobby of Oud Huis de
Peellaert, guests are greeted with the sight of grand features like vaulted
ceilings, chandeliers, and marble steps. Beautiful fresh flowers pop up everywhere from the
front desk to the breakfast room tables. The hotel has a beautiful bar
area in connecting parlors with rich upholstered chairs and gold-framed
portraits on the walls. Outside is a brick courtyard surrounded by
greenery where guests can enjoy breakfast in warmer months. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and refined.

Location

Excellent location in the heart of Bruges

The hotel is in a great central location on Bruges
Hoogstraat (High Street), which can be busy with pedestrians and taxis. It’s a
short walk to the main square, and there are plenty of shops, cafés, and
restaurants nearby. The hotel is two blocks away from the canal, and Dijver, a
destination popular for its famous medieval buildings near the canal, is less
than a 10-minute walk. The international airport in Ostend is less than a 40-minute
drive.

Rooms

Classic rooms with electric kettles and high-end bath products

The rooms at Oud
Huis de Peellaert are classic with light carpeting and pale yellow wallpaper or painted walls. Furnishings such as wood bureaus, classy bedside lamps, and
upholstered pillows give the room a traditionally elegant feel. Fabrics accents often incorporate brocade or stripes. All rooms have flat-screen
TVs, stocked minibars, and free Wi-Fi. Electric kettles are provided as well as L’Occitane
bath products.
