LOFT Hotel Bratislava

LOFT Hotel Bratislava is an edgy hotel with eclectic and retro-industrial style. The lobby has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with antique-style carpets on the wooden floors, cozy lounge area with brown leather sofas, a coffee table, bookshelves, and a modestly sized wooden reception desk in front of a brick wall. The hallways have an Old World feel with detailed railings and antique-style wallpaper, as well as a large window with beautiful mosaic detail. Fabrika the Beer Pub, the main highlight of the hotel, is a fun area with arched bricked ceilings, black and white photos on the walls, wooden tables with leather chairs, and long shelves with beer and wine bottles on display. The rooms are split into two sections of the hotel: Loft Rooms and the Wilson Palace rooms. The Wilson Palace rooms are housed in a historical building built in 1881-- the rooms and suites feature an antique feel with luxurious and spacious interiors. The brewery attracts mostly beer lovers and tourists in the city, with a couple of features that attract business travelers.

LOFT Hotel Bratislava is located in a quiet area just outside of the city center, with beautiful views of the Presidential Palace's gardens. The Presidential Palace is only a four-minute walk away. The immediate area is mostly made up of residential buildings with a handful of restaurants and bars, and Old Town is about 10 minutes on foot. Other nearby attractions include: Michael's Gate (10-minute walk), St. Martin's Cathedral (15-minute walk), Slovak National Gallery (three-minute drive), the Bratislava Castle (five-minute drive), the Danube River Bank (five-minute drive), and Devin Castle (20-minute drive). Public transport is within easy reach. The Kooperative tram and bus stop are a seven-minute walk away and the Bratislava Main Railway Station is a nine-minute walk from the hotel. The Bratislava Airport is 17 minutes by car.

The 121 guest rooms at LOFT Hotel Bratislava are made up of 111 Loft Rooms and 10 Luxury Rooms in the historical Wilson Palace boutique hotel. The Loft Rooms are sleek, modern, and minimalist with wooden vinyl flooring, dark wood furniture, no artwork, and white walls and bed linens. The Wilson Palace Rooms are lush and elegant with antique-style decor and luxurious furniture. The Wilson Palace Rooms and Suites are much more spacious than the Loft Rooms, with separate lounge areas, bedrooms, and (some) small sun rooms for reading and relaxing. All rooms include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, free minibars (refilled daily), tea- and- coffee-making facilities, work desks, telephones, safes, irons and ironing boards, and free Wi-Fi. A free bottle of wine is a nice bonus in the suites. Bathrooms in the Loft Rooms include shower/tub combos with hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, and Damana toiletries. The Wilson Palace bathrooms include walk-in showers, tubs, bidets, hairdryers, bathrobes, slippers, and Vittore de Conti toiletries. 

The microbrewery is by far the most popular feature at LOFT Hotel Bratislava. The five varieties of beers brewed on-site are available at Fabrika the Beer Pub, along with an extensive list of other beers, wines, and cocktails. The pub also serves a large buffet breakfast with Slovakian specialties each morning (not included in room rates) as well as an a la carte lunch and dinner menu. Guests should note that reservations are recommended for Fabrika, as it can get quite busy with non-hotel guests. There's also the Coffee and Wine Bar, which serves a smaller breakfast as well as meals from the standard Fabrika menu, along with a vast selection of drinks. There are no fitness or spa facilities apart from the mobile spa service offering simple pampering treatments. Business travelers can make use of the four meeting rooms. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. There is an underground parking garage available for an additional fee. The hotel also offers a limousine transfer service to the train station, airport, and other nearby attractions for an additional fee.
