Bottom Line

The Branson Towers Hotel sits away from 76 Country Boulevard in Branson, but it's still within walking distance of the town's attractions and restaurants. To get to the main entertainment district, it’s under a 10-minute drive, but that means you need a rental car to get to most tourist areas. Although the hotel’s lobby is large and includes features such as a big staircase and fireplace, the decor is generic and the carpets are old. Throughout the hotel, guests note that carpets have stains and there's often a smell of cigarettes wafting through. Room decorations are bland and basically void of color. Free Wi-Fi, parking, and a hot and cold breakfast are offered, and an indoor pool and hot tub, game room, and business center are additional perks. The breakfast area may be crowded in the morning and some rooms suffer from loud street noise.

Branson Towers Hotel

Scene

An uninspired, older budget hotel

Despite the three-story staircase, player piano, and fireplace in the vast lobby, the overall decor at the Branson Towers Hotel is unoriginal and a bit dated. In the lobby, red leather sofas, older green carpets, and blue and cream cloth furniture don’t play well together; however, they do provide a good amount of seating. Additionally, there is 24-hour coffee offered in the lobby. The meeting rooms include banquet hall chairs with a 90s design of poor color choices (pale reds and greens), but the breakfast area is slightly more updated with some pops of blue and yellow, as well as some updated seating. Guests note tired, stained carpets from the game room to the breakfast area and the hallways, and the pink or white walls are less than appealing. There is a decent-sized cement outdoor patio, though, with some greenery and seating areas.

Location

Walking distance to some attractions and restaurants, and within driving distance of downtown

The Branson Towers Hotel is somewhat separate from the town's action, in a more secluded area. The Mansion, Tri-Lakes Center, and Kirby VanBurch Theater are all within walking distance, though, as are a few restaurants. A seven-minute drive will get you to the main entertainment district, which includes the Titanic Museum, Dixie Stampede Dinner attraction, Tanger outlets, White Water, and the Clay Cooper Theatre; Silver Dollar City is 15 minutes away by car. A rental car is necessary if you plan on visiting the main entertainment district or need to get to the Branson Airport.

Rooms

Pleasant -- if bland -- style, well-reviewed pillow-top mattresses, mini-fridges, and flat-screen TVs

Rooms at the Branson Towers Hotel include pillow-top mattresses, which receive good reviews, along with mini-fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers, and 42-inch flat-screen TVs. However, the designs are unoriginal and need a bit of updating. The cream-colored walls and bland artwork lend little to no flair, while tan, red, and silver comforters are out of style. Small chairs offer additional seating, but follow the same neutral color scheme. Some rooms have jetted tubs, gas fireplaces, and wood flooring, and all have Archive amenities in the bathroom. The clean bathrooms are awash in white with basic shower/tubs. Guests mention that some rooms suffer from interior and exterior noise, and some have stained carpeting.

Features

Indoor pool and hot tub, plus freebies like Wi-Fi, parking, and breakfast

The Branson Towers Hotel has similar facilities to many of its competitors. There is an indoor pool and hot tub with large windows that let in a lot of natural light. A game room has an air hockey table and arcade games, and there are also laundry facilities and a business center with two computers, a printer, and a fax machine. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi and parking. The three meeting rooms are relatively large and some include kitchens, A/V equipment, speaker systems, projector screens, and 60-inch flat-screen TVs. The hotel offers a free daily breakfast with hot and cold items such as biscuits, waffles, cereal, and fruit, and it receives good reviews. There's also a seasonal ice cream social held later in the evenings with live music and frozen goodies, but attending the event does require a small fee.
