Scene
Sleek hotel with luxury furnishings, a stylish restaurant, and a trendy bar with a terrace
Modern, black awnings and a glass marquee over the double glass door entrance accentuate the Hotel Burdigala's 18th-century exterior. Inside, the modern minimalist lobby, with mirrors and a long, black check-in desk, uses a silver-toned palette to great effect, creating a grand first impression. Ultra-mod high-back chairs sit in a circle like pods, while lush-looking gray sofas and armchairs form separate seating areas within the large space. Hallways -- with different color accents on each floor -- are also stylishly decorated with purple carpeting and leather, and white doors. On-site dining at the La Table de Burdigala restaurant is an elegant affair, with a circular skylight, black leather booths and chairs, and sheer cascading drapes. The trendy Le Bacchus Bar features silver booth seating set against silver damask wallpaper, orange and red chairs, and dangling crystals over the bar top. The terrace is bright, thanks to a glass ceiling, and is furnished with stylish white rattan furniture.
Location
Near Bordeaux's city center

The departure point for Bordeaux River Cruise trips on the Garonne is within a 20-minute walk, and is near the Bordeaux Palais de la Bourse and Le Miroir d'eau. It’s a 40-minute tram ride to Palais des Congres. Driving to the Bordeaux-Merignac Airport takes about 20 minutes.
