There is a wild, Northern California feeling at the grounds and common areas of the Bodega Bay Lodge, with the Pacific Ocean in the background, and acres of beautifully landscaped lawns and wildflowers. The lobby is large with high ceilings and skylights, handsome leather armchairs, wood trim, slate floors, and rustic rock columns and fireplaces. The spa and fitness center have peaked roofs with heavy wooden beams and rough hardwood floors.Drake's Fireside Lounge is a casual restaurant that serves craft beer, hard cider, and signature cocktails such as the Bodega Head Manhattan, alongside lighter appetizers, salads, soups, and burgers. Guests can enjoy the spectacular Sonoma sunset from teak rocking chairs surrounding the outdoor fire pit. The decor is nautical, with model sailing ships and ocean-themed oil paintings. The adjacent Duck Club Restaurant serves Sonoma Coastal Cuisine: local seafood, artisanal cheeses, and farm-fresh ingredients.
