St. Christopher's Inn Berlin is housed in an imposing six-story building located on a busy Berlin street. Instead of a lobby, the ground floor is taken up by the property's popular bar, with additional seating on an upper level. The reception counter plays second fiddle, tucked into a corner by the door. The atmosphere here is laid back and cozy, with a hip rock-music theme. Tall windows let in plenty of light, and comfortable leather booths occupy niches. Bright salmon-colored walls contrast with the dark floors and ceilings, while posters and wall murals of well-known musicians decorate the walls. Hallways are also brightly painted, an attempt to mask an otherwise institutional feel. The atmosphere here is fun and friendly, with many young budget travelers choosing to stay here.

A variety of different room categories are available at St. Christopher's Inn Berlin, including Double and Twin Room Apartments with shared bathrooms and kitchens and Single and Double Rooms with or without attached bathrooms. There are also female-only and mixed dorms sleeping up to 16 people with shared bathroom facilities located in the hallways. Two of the mixed dorms have “pod” beds fixed with curtains, which offer a bit more privacy.Rooms are decorated in bright colors and decorated in a functional style, with minimal furniture and no extra amenities. In the dorm rooms, lockers are located under the beds and can be locked with a padlock (available for sale at reception). Apartments come with fully equipped kitchens complete with fridges, stoves, ovens, toasters, coffeemakers, kettles, and cookware. Towels are only provided in the budget hotel rooms and female-only dorms, but can be bought or rented at reception.With an on-site bar and groups frequently staying here, noise can be a problem. Also, street noise can be a nuisance in the street-facing rooms, and past guests have complained of cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, and showers not draining properly.
