The 337-room Westin Bellevue is an upscale contemporary hotel spread over 19 floors located in the heart of Bellevue, next to high-end shopping and dining. This property offers
an excellent array of facilities, including a 25-meter indoor pool, a full-service spa, and three innovative dining and drinking venues. Clean, contemporary guest rooms feature plush Westin Heavenly Beds along with minibars, coffeemakers, and small flat-screen TVs. Given its location near
the Bellevue-Redmond tech hub, it's a good choice for business travelers, though the main sights of Seattle are not nearby. It's also
a good choice for tourists who appreciate the pool and other leisure
facilities, and access to downtown Bellevue shopping and dining. There is a pesky fee for Wi-Fi in the rooms.
Scene
Contemporary, upscale hotel with indoor pool and spa
The interiors at the Westin Bellevue are contemporary, upscale, and well constructed in the Westin mold with glass, wood, and granite. Guests enter to a largely white lobby with
high ceilings, good natural light, colorful modern art on the walls, slate-blue soft seating,
and bright-yellow lighting. The atmosphere at the Westin reflects the energy of
the hotel's surroundings on bustling Bellevue Way in the heart of downtown
Bellevue. The hotel draws mostly business and tech types, especially during the
week, who will find everything they need on-site including a business center and three appealing dining options. Leisure travelers appreciate the 25-meter indoor pool, excellent spa, and
top-notch dining. Shoppers like the closeness to Bellevue Square, Lincoln
Square, and the Shops at Bravern, but at a 20-minute drive from Seattle, it's
not great for tourists who want proximity to city attractions. Overall the atmosphere is sharp and refined, with quality 24-hour service.
Location
Central Bellevue Way location next to shopping and dining
The Westin features an excellent location on Bellevue
Way in the heart of downtown Bellevue. There are a wide variety of restaurants
in the vicinity of the hotel. Bellevue Art Museum is next door and the Lincoln
Square shopping center and movie theater can be directly accessed via an
entrance on the hotel's third floor. The upscale Bellevue Square Mall and
Downtown Park is across the street. The area with Meydenbauer Center event
venue and Shops at Bravern shopping and dining center is an eight-minute walk
east. The I-405 freeway is a three-minute drive east and the I-90 freeway is a
10-minute drive south of the hotel. The Microsoft campus is a 12-minute drive
northeast. Located a 20-minute drive west, Seattle feels a bit far from the hotel, and features attractions such as the Mariners and Seahawks stadiums, Pioneer Square, the Pike Place Market, and
Space Needle. The Westin is a 25-minute drive northeast of Sea-Tac Airport.
