Scene

Stark, industrial look

The hotel’s ambiance reflects its industrial surroundings. The simple lobby has blue walls and light wood furniture, including some tables and chairs from the hotel restaurant. There are vending machines and some armchairs nearby, but this is not a place meant for leisurely lingering.

Location

Close to a convention center and the airport

The hotel's location in an industrial zone near one of Fira de Barcelona's congress centers makes it a convenient option for business travelers, especially those who are not planning on staying in Barcelona beyond business, because it's a 15-minute drive to the airport. Despite its distance from the city (Placa de Catalunya is 40 minutes away by public transportation), the property is a 20-minute walk to a shopping center with dining and bar options.

Rooms

Clean and simple

The 83 rooms are clean and basic, with furniture similar to what can be found at the nearby Ikea. The wall at the head of the bed is painted a soothing blue and there is a bit of color in the curtains and the desk chair. The rooms have flat-screen TVs, which is about it for amenities. There are no coffee- or tea-making facilities in the rooms, but you can get a kettle from reception. The small bathrooms have curtained shower-bath combinations.

Features

Basic breakfast, free parking

The hotel has a restaurant and bar, with a cafeteria-like ambiance and serves an inexpensive continental breakfast. Free underground parking is also available.
