Hotel Sant Antoni makes a nice first impression, with a glossy red reception desk that takes up most of the lobby, which gets flooded with light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. A long, white couch and an armchair are set along the wall toward the back of the narrow space, where there's also a computer workstation. The equally bright breakfast room is the only other common space, done in a similar contemporary style with red accents. Most of the guests here are leisure travelers, but the quiet atmosphere and on-site amenities draws some business travelers as well.

The property is a six-minute walk to Sagrada Familia, and about an 18-minute walk to Gaudí’s Casa Batlló and Casa Milá buildings. The nearest metro station, Monumental, is three minutes away on foot, and guests can reach the Plaza de Catalunya in 14 minutes by public transportation. Barcelona – El Prat Airport is about a 23-minute drive.
