All have flat-screen TVs and well-stocked minibars -- and some even have lovely views of the tree-lined street below. The modern vibe extends to the bathrooms, though the glass doors may make some guests uncomfortable. Public spaces include a small outdoor pool, casual bar, and lobby with contemporary decor, albeit somewhat tired furnishings. Comfortable, clean, and centrally located, this hotel is a solid value.

It is a five-minute walk from Passeig de Gracia, one of the most important streets in Barcelona for both business and shopping. Although some sights are a bit too far to reach by foot, the hotel is conveniently situated near a metro stop (so close that it may be a detractor due to noise).Eixample is a central section of Barcelona and home to the city's best examples of modernist architecture, including the Casa Milá building and Sagrada Família church that were both designed by Antoni Gaudí.
