The bright lobby of the Ayre Hotel Caspe (which opened in 2004) is washed in natural light and features a futuristic art sculpture that hangs from the ceiling's skylight, dangling above modern triangular black-and-white chairs. The lobby's kitchen-style stainless steel doors, light-colored walls, and white marble floors, however, make the space feel slightly sterile, it lacks the charm of some smaller hotels nearby. Natural light pervades the property, including the white-walled hallways that have black carpet runners, a wall of windows, and light wood doors. The hotel's restaurant is large and modernly decorated, but its low-hanging, grey-tiled ceiling makes the space feel slightly confining. The Placa Catalunya, the center of the city, is a 15-minute ride on a public bus. The Tetuan and Arc de Triomph subway stations are a six-minute walk away. Historical sites like the Sagrada de Familia church, built in the 1880s, is a 10-minute walk. Getting to and from the Barcelona El Prat Airport takes 20 minutes by car.
