entertainment. The restaurant and pool area are at the heart of the property
and are picturesque and popular with guests. The property has a narrow but
beautiful beachfront with calm, clear water. All rooms are suites, and the hotel’s three Deluxe suites
offer luxurious perks such as spa baths and private plunge pools. However, the
furnishings and decor in the basic suites are nondescript and not anything fancy. The small size of
this hotel allows the staff to provide personalized, exceptional service.
Scene
Quiet and secluded tropical oasis
The three story buildings comprising Treasure Beach are
painted white with brown staircases. The tropical greenery and gardens are immaculately manicured and give the property a secluded, private ambiance. Guests consist of mostly couples and a few families and the
hotel has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant/bar and the pool are
the most lively areas of the property. The lobby is very small with a single couch. Reception only
consists of a small desk, but it is well-staffed, and its intimacy adds to the hotel’s boutique
feel. Those looking for the bustle of a large chain won't find it here.
Location
On the ritzy west coast of Barbados
Centrally located on Highway 1 a bit south of Holetown,
Treasure Beach is in easy driving distance to local sights and restaurants.

and public transport run frequently.- Five-minute drive to Holetown
Rooms
Basic suites are spacious but nothing fancy
The hotel has 32 basic suites as well as three Deluxe
suites. The basic suites each have a living room, bedroom, and bathroom, and are
spacious. Balconies overlook the beautiful grounds, pool, and beach. The living
rooms have couches, chairs, and tables, and are sufficient but not lavish. The
furniture has neutral, beachy tones, and the brick walls and tile floors are a
neutral beige as well. Amenities include small sinks, mini-fridges, and
electric water kettles. Overall, the look is a bit bland and nondescript. The bedrooms have large beds with comfortable, modern bedding
as well as a flat-screen TV. The bathrooms are spacious with separate tubs and
showers, as well as bowl sinks. The closeby Mango Bay Hotel offers more updated rooms but it is a larger property. The Deluxe suites are much more luxurious with a large spa
bathroom that includes a stand-up shower, whirlpool tub, toilet and bidet, and
double sinks. The bedroom and living rooms are equally spacious, with more
updated furniture. The bedroom has dark wood bedposts, desk, and
tables, and colorful art decorates the walls. The bed is large with modern bedding. The living room has more modern furniture as well, including tasteful patterned couches, a dark wood coffee table, and a dining table with
seating for two. It also has a small kitchenette with a handful of glasses,
plates, and eating utensils. The best part of the Deluxe suite is the balcony, which has gorgeous views of
the pool and ocean, and its own private plunge pool.
Features
The pool and restaurant are the highlights.
A circular pool sits at the heart of the resort and is
popular among guests. A few high and low top tables dot the pool area and lushlandscaping around the property adds to the tropical oasis feel. There is a
small stretch of lawn between the pool and beach where lounge chairs are set up
and guests can catch some sun. The beach is located a few steps down from the pool. It is
narrow and on the small side – Treasure Beach is not a large property. However,
there are lounge chairs and umbrellas set up for guests to use and the water is
gorgeous – calm, turquoise blue, and clear.Kathy’s Restaurant, located off the lobby and overlooking
the pool, is scenic and spacious, and offers a good variety of food for breakfast,
lunch, and dinner. The bar area is inviting and stylish, with a beige
couch and cushioned chairs. The hotel has a small fitness center located on the ground
floor equipped with a treadmill, stair climber, stationary bike, free weights,
and balance ball. There is a single room on-site spa that offers
massages, facials, body treatments, nail services, and waxing. The
spa has a steam-shower.
