hotel, though guests who don’t want to walk can avail the hotel’s free tuk-tuk
service to the station. Sukhumvit Road and the roads branching off of it are
lined with Thai street food, upscale international restaurants, bars, and
nightclubs, including the trendy Thong Lo area (one skytrain stop away). The
historic areas around the Grand Palace and Wat Pho require a
long cab ride (30 minutes up to an hour depending on traffic), or can be reached via skytrain, metro, and Chao Phraya River ferries (also about an hour).
Suvarnabhumi Airport is about an hour and 15 minutes away via the skytrain and Airport Rail
Link, or around 40 minutes by taxi, while Don Mueang Airport is
30 to 45 minutes away depending on traffic.
