Although stark, this modern "green" hotel manages to create intimacy in its common spaces, with clusters of gray and red sectional sofas and small tables extending into the bar area. Beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows illuminate the whole area, and a foosball table adds a touch of fun. Taste, the on-site restaurant, follows a similar design, with red and gray chairs, wood veneer tables, and a large buffet area. Outside is a lovely wood deck terrace with black wicker seating and white umbrellas -- it's a nice spot to kick back with a beer. 

The ibis Bangkok Nana is in one of the major commercial areas, where bars and stores line the streets. Its downtown location puts it within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Such sights as the Terminal 21 Shopping Mall, Central Chidlom Department Store, Erawan Shrine, and Pratunam Market are within a 10-minute drive, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is within a 25-minute drive, and can also be reached by public transportation near the hotel.

Only Single and Double Rooms are available here. All rooms are decorated exactly the same, in the ibis design. Built-in desks and seating maximize space. One red wall with abstract art enlivens the preponderance of wood. Rooms come with coffeemakers, air-conditioning, mini-fridges, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs. The well-lit bathrooms, where white tile complements black countertops, follow the same economy of space -- they have glassed-in stand-in showers but no bathtubs, and no toiletries aside from a soap dispenser.

Taste restaurant serves breakfast (not included), and the lobby bar offers drinks and food nonstop. There's a business center with three computers, headphones, and desks. The hotel offers free shuttle service to the Nana BTS Station, along with free parking and Wi-Fi, and accepts pets,as long as they weigh less than 25 pounds. Don't expect a swimming pool at this urban property.
