The Ballachulish Hotel is a mid-range property housed in an imposing Scots Baronial building overlooking the stunning Loch Linnhe in the Glencoe Highlands. Some of the simply furnished rooms have views of the loch and/or jetted tubs. While the interiors feel dated and in need of a refresh, creaky stairs and cracking log fires create plenty of homey ambience. A bar-bistro provides a hearty breakfast and good range of whiskies accompanied by loch views. The nearby Isles of Glencoe provides more modern lodging at comparable rates.
