The upscale, 145-unit Royal Beach is one of the most affordable options offering direct access to Seminyak Beach. The hotel has nice traditional Balinese decor, and its grounds include lush gardens with ponds, statues, and intricately painted doors. Rooms and villas are mostly modern, featuring flat-screen TVs, balconies or patios, and minibars; some rooms have dated furnishings and are slightly worn. There are two gorgeous outdoor pools (one overlooks the ocean) and the surrounding loungers have built-in buzzers for requesting service. Other facilities include three restaurants, two bars, a spa, and small gym. Free Wi-Fi and nightly entertainment, such as live jazz music or Balinese dancing, add to the hotel's value, but guests have to rent beach chairs. The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa has better rooms and an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, but higher rates.
Scene
This resort has touches of Balinese-style design and gorgeous gardens.
Comprising 128 rooms and 17 villas, The Royal Beach Seminyak Bali is one of the larger resorts in the area. The hotel and its grounds are designed with traditional Balinese elements, including carved statues, lily ponds, and colorfully painted doors. This serene environment extends to a pool in a garden setting, while a larger pool that has views of the ocean sees more children and activity. A life-size chess board on the lawn may appeal to families (note that there is no kids' club), and there are a few hammocks around, in keeping with the relaxed vibe. The lobby includes a seating area set with colorful floor pillows and cushions in front of a flat-screen TV.
Thanks to its villas with private pools, the hotel attracts primarily couples, but it also sees a large percentage of families. Since there are three restaurants and two bars along with the pools and beach, many guests stay on the property most of the time.

Rooms
Rooms have Balinese touches, flat-screen TVs, and balconies or patios; villas have a private pool or hot tub.
There are 128 spacious rooms at the hotel. Most rooms are contemporary, with dark wooden furniture, white bedding, neutral-tone decor, and Balinese touches in the wall art. Some rooms are dated and feature parquet flooring, orange walls, and worn furnishings. Still, they all include flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, minibars, tea- and coffee-making facilities, free Wi-Fi, and furnished balconies or patios. Marble bathrooms have walk-in showers, separate bathtubs, a full range of toiletries, hairdryers, bathrobes, and slippers. Features
Three restaurants, two pools, a spa, fitness center, meeting facilities, and direct beach access
The hotel has convenient and relaxing facilities designed to keep tourists happy. There's direct access to Seminyak Beach, a long stretch of public beach with vendors for guests to rent lounge chairs or water sports. The property has a grassy area between the beach and the main pool with cushioned loungers and umbrellas; this is adjacent to a sand volleyball court. The two outdoor pools are more popular than the beach. One is medium-size and has a hot tub in a beautiful garden setting, plus it's surrounded by sun loungers, umbrellas, and a massage hut; the main pool is larger, with shallow and deep sections, hot tubs, and views of the ocean. All the lounge chairs have buzzers for guests to request staff for food and drink service, but there's a fee to rent the chairs.

Additionally, meeting and event spaces are on-site, and babysitting services can be arranged for an added fee. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
