Paths wind through tunnels of green and lead around the well-maintained grounds. Peaked thatched roofs and open-air architecture allow the outdoors in, while interior decor is a mix of beachy rattan furniture and elegant details like Persian rugs on stone floors, antique pieces, and chandeliers. Clientele is mainly composed of couples, and it certainly makes for a romantic vacation, but families are also catered to here and are attracted by the spacious private villas with pools.

Area attractions include the Ubud Palace, the Saraswati Temple, and the Blanco Renaissance Museum, all of which can be reached in five minutes by car or about 15 to 20 minutes on foot. Further away, the Goa Gajah cave (elephant cave) is around a 15-minute drive. Ngurah Rai International Airport is about an hour's drive away from the hotel.
