eqUILIBRIA SEMINYAK's modern minimalist architecture offers a hint of what guests will find inside: chic, minimalist style with spare furnishings, clean lines, and lots of natural light. Greenery flanking the entrance is the only source of color in the box-like space, which is also fronted by a pebbled pool of water and artful tree trunk arrangements. The effect is elegant and starkly modern, with a decidedly upscale sensibility -- a style that's seen throughout the property. Even the outdoor pool feels ultra chic, with tree trunk pieces that look like abstract sculptures interspersed between brown four-poster daybeds. Green privacy hedges frame the scene on three sides. It all feels very zen, and the atmosphere is indeed calm and relaxing, making it a great choice for vacationers seeking respite. The clientele here is mostly made up of couples, and the hotel offers a variety of romance and wellness packages.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location that's close to lots of dining options and shopping. There are several other hotels and villa accommodations in the immediate area, but the property maintains a sense of calm and privacy. The popular Seminyak Square is a 10-minute walk away, while the nearest beach can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. Other popular beaches, such as Double Six and Seminyak, are reached in about 10 minutes by car. Area attractions within a 20-minute drive include the Bali Blast Monument, Waterbom Bali water park, and the Discovery Shopping Mall. Ngurah Rai International Airport is about a 20-minute drive from the hotel.

These chic, modern villas feature the kind of minimalist decor that's seen throughout the property. Think: cream and white hues paired with attractive, clean-lined dark wooden furnishings and accents, plus lots of natural light thanks to large windows. The only pops of color come from the lush greenery adorning private outdoor spaces with pools and umbrella-shaded sunbeds on wooden sundecks. All villas have separate living rooms chock-full of modern tech, including flat-screen TVs, Bose sound docks, iPads, iPods, and Playstations. Other standard amenities include minibars, electric kettles, electronic safes, and air-conditioning. Luxe, large bathrooms have soaking tubs and separate walk-in rainfall showers. 

There are three types of villas to choose from: Pool Villas, Waterfall Villas, which have a waterfall feature flowing from an infinity pool down to the bedroom below, and the Signature Villa, which is the largest option (2153-square-feet or 200-square-meters) and also features a waterfall pool. Waterfall and Signature Villas are duplexes and have extras like outdoor tubs and kitchenettes. All of the villas come with free butler service for assistance with arranging transportation, ordering breakfast, and providing room orientations. 

Though each of the guest villas have their own private pools, the hotel also offers a main public pool for everyone's enjoyment. There's a stylish poolside bar that offers drinks and small bites, but no full restaurant -- though room service can be ordered via in-room iPad. All-day breakfast is included in rates and delivered to villas. Guests also get perks like free cooking classes and free sunset snacks. Other extras include 24-hour butler service and mobile phones for guest use. Guests can rent laptops from the hotel (printers and scanners are also available) and Wi-Fi is free throughout the property.
