Bloo Lagoon Village

This eco-friendly property has a quiet atmosphere and an open-air concept throughout. It offers direct access to the lagoon and is surrounded by a forest; couples and families can be seen enjoying the pool and activities. Buildings have thatched roofs and balconies drip with ivy. Inside, the lobby has dark tile, blue-cushioned wicker benches, and natural-looking wood tables; woven blinds are typically raised during the day, allowing natural light to flood through the wall-less space. HELIX 64 Restaurant and Bar is open-air and easygoing, with a blue spiral ramp leading to a top floor with panoramic views of Mt. Agung and the lagoon. The restaurant's bamboo bar and simple white furniture complement the breezy, open design. Traditional Balinese decor decorates the Spiral Spa, with wicker chairs and patterned tapestries accented by leafy greenery and beautiful water views. The large wooden yoga deck is cooled by ceiling fans, while the garden grows fruits and veggies for the restaurant. 

The Bloo Lagoon Village is in a peaceful, isolated area far from the airport and attractions, with Padang Bai Beach, restaurants, and shops less than 10 minutes' walk away. Bali Safari and Marine Park is a 45-minute drive, while the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Sanur Beach, and Bali Art Centre are about an hour away by car. The Ngurah Rai International Airport is about 90 minutes' drive from the property. The hotel has a free shuttle service to the beach and into town. Paid shuttle to the airport is available. 

All of the rooms are traditional Balinese-style Villas with grass roofs and open, indoor-outdoor spaces -- which may pose privacy issues. One-, two-, and three-bedroom Villas are available, each decorated with stone tile floors, Balinese statues, and wicker furniture. All include dining areas, some with bar-style seating, and others with wood tables and white chairs. All have kitchens with full-size refrigerators, stovetops, tea kettles, and serving ware; some have toaster ovens. Lovely exposed beams and fans adorn the ceilings -- some Villas lack air-conditioning. Bedrooms are decorated in bright blue and white, with sheer white mosquito nets protecting the white-washed wooden beds. Bathrooms feature white countertops and sinks, though toiletries aren't provided; toilets and bathtubs are in outdoor bathrooms surrounded by greenery, and some also have rainfall showers. Free bottled water is provided, and some Villas have great ocean views. Bugs and animals can get into the Villas, and there are no TVs. 

The lagoon-style outdoor pool has a small wading area for children, and a poolside deck with large wooden picnic tables, all surrounded by flowers, trees, and plants. International and Indonesian dishes are served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at HELIX 64 Restaurant and Bar, and there are local juices and wines available as well. All food, including the breakfast provided with some packages, receives excellent reviews. Facials, masks, wraps, and massages are offered at the full-service Spiral Spa, and activities include scuba diving, free morning yoga, and cooking classes. There's also an on-site art gallery. Sunscreen, goggles, jewelry, and sundries can be purchased at the on-site store, and there is a business center in the lobby with two computers. Concierge and room services are available, and there is a free shuttle to the beach and local area. Both room service and the front desk have limited hours.
