Scene
A small and secluded all-villa hotel, with a tranquil and tropical setting
Bhavana Private Villas is within walking distance from one Seminyak's busiest and most happening neighborhoods, but once inside it feels far removed from the buzz of downtown. The hotel's location is fairly peaceful and it stays consistently quiet and laidback. Apart from the hotel lobby there are no other facilities outside of the villas themselves. The spacious contemporary lobby features tall cathedral ceilings, white stone floors, flowing koi ponds, intricately carved stone statues and reliefs displayed throughout, and comfy couches on which to relax. Stone pathways link the villas and the lobby, and the pathways are lined with tropical greenery. Tall trees and palms shade the villas and help keep the temperature down. The villas have plenty of space to sprawl out, and are great for groups of friends or families, though there aren't any kid specific facilities. It's easy to see why the hotel is so popular with couples, as the atmosphere is romantic and the villa compounds are secluded, tranquil, and highly private with tall walls surrounding them.
Location
A short walk from excellent dining, shopping, and nightlife -- and a 15-minute walk from Petitenget Beach
Bhavana Private Villas are located on a quiet street, a five-minute walk from Seminyak's Eat Street or Kayu Aya Street, and a 15-minute walk from Petitenget Beach. Kayu Aya Street is one of Seminyak's most happening areas. It's lined with great dining, shopping, and nightlife options. The long white-sand Petitenget Beach has decent surfing waves and is well suited for long walks or lounging. Ku De Ta is a popular restaurant which gets especially busy during sunset hours, located on Petitenget Beach. Some other great oceanfront restaurants and beach clubs in the area are located less than 10 minutes by car from the hotel -- they include Potato Head Beach Club, W Bali, and La Lucciola Restaurant. The airport, along with Kuta Beach, Discovery Shopping Mall, and Waterbom Bali take around 40 minutes to reach from the hotel, though driving times can take much longer depending on traffic.
Rooms
Spacious villas with tropical gardens, roomy plunge pools, semi open-air living rooms, and useable kitchens
The Bhavana Private Villas is an all-villa hotel, with either One- or Two-Bedroom Villa compounds that feature thatched roofs, tropical gardens, and an open plan design. All units have private plunge pools, huge living rooms, useable kitchens, and are highly private with tall walls surrounding them. Villa interiors are bright and airy, with high ceilings and semi open-air living spaces. Features
Freebies of breakfast, airport transfers, and Wi-Fi

Common hotel facilities, like a restaurant, main pool, spa, and fitness center aren't featured here. An a la carte breakfast is included in room packages and all-day room service is available, though guest reviews of the food are mixed.
