The Water Club is an 800-room modern and exclusive escape from the bustle of Atlantic City. Guests have access to the casino, restaurants, and nightlife of the attached Borgata -- but have their own exclusive amenities, including five adults-only heated pools and a serene two-story Immersion spa. Rooms have more amenities than at the Borgata next door, including iPod docks, flat-screen TVs, and Keurig coffeemakers, but the pools can be crowded during the summer, and this level of quality comes with one of the highest price tags in Atlantic City.
Scene
Exclusive, tranquil, and near the action of the Borgata
The group that opened the Borgata in 2003 opened The Water Club in 2008. While attached to the casino, this hotel has a distinctly modern feel that is more exclusive than the Borgata. Higher-end business and leisure clientele are attracted to The Water Club for its superb meeting rooms, designer shops, and two-floor spa. Pools offer a serene adults-only atmosphere and the all-season Sunroom Lounge is a relaxed place for coffee, tapas, or cocktails. Guests looking for nightlife and entertainment can cross through the lobby into the Borgata casino for gambling, celebrity chef restaurants, a theater venue, and nightlife.
Location
Attached to the Borgata casino, two miles from the Atlantic City boardwalk
Located two miles from the Atlantic City Boardwalk, The Water Club is attached to the Borgata on Renaissance Pointe. Part of the appeal of these hotels is distance from the boardwalk crowds. The Water Club isn't located on the beach, but does offer a total of five pools and a shuttle during summer months to a local beach. The location is packed with entertainment options including restaurants and nightlife, but other options are also a short taxi ride away. The Renaissance Pointe area is next to the Farley State Marina and is easy to reach from the highways.- 2-minute walk to the Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa
Rooms
Modern rooms with more amenities than the Borgata
The Water Club has 800 contemporary rooms spread over 43 stories. Decorated in neutral colors with modern furnishings, rooms have excellent views thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. While similar in taste to the Borgata, rooms at The Water Club are more up to date. All room types have iPod docks, flat-screen TVs, bathrobes, and wet bars. Customized Sealy mattresses and Egyptian cotton sheets add luxurious touches.- Signature Water Club Sealy mattresses
Features
Two-floor Immersion Spa, designer shopping, and adults-only pools
The Water Club is a tranquil, sophisticated hotel option in Atlantic City. Many of the features -- such as the adults-only heated pools -- aren't designed with families in mind, but this fact makes the hotel an escape from the action of the casino. In addition to two outdoor pools and three indoor pools, the Water Club also has a two-floor Immersion Spa and options for designer shopping. All the features of the Borgata -- including the casino, concert venue, and restaurants -- are right next door and easy to access.- Serene two-floor [spa with infinity-edge lap pool
All-Inclusive / Food
The bright, all-season Sunroom Lobby Lounge plus nearby Borgata options
The Water Club has a special room service menu created by Chef Geoffrey Zakarian of The Lambs Club in Manhattan. In addition, the main floor of the hotel is home to the Sunroom Lounge. This sunny space is open for coffee, light meals, tapas, and cocktails. While the space is enclosed, the glass walls, lush plants, and candles give it an outdoor feel that can be enjoyed during all seasons. Guests at the Water Club also have easy access to all the dining options at the Borgata. Just through the lobby is the Borgata casino, home to celebrity chef restaurants like Bobby Flay Steak and Wolfgang Puck American Grille.
