Viceroy Snowmass is easily the most luxurious resort in Snowmass Village, and is packed with top-notch amenities, including a 7,000-square-foot spa with stunning relaxation room, a solid fitness center with modern Technogym equipment, and a lovely pool area with heated saline pool, cabanas, and fire pit. It also offers phenomenal ski valet service (valets will take care of everything from scheduling lessons to putting your boots on for you), plenty of children's activities, and a prime ski-in, ski-out location. There's a daily resort fee, and you'll have to pay for valet, but that's to be expected at a resort of this caliber.

The Hotel Jerome is a piece of Aspen history, and offers 94 uniquely decorated Deluxe Rooms and one-bedroom Suites. First opened in 1889, the hotel showcases its Victorian-style roots with original furnishings, lavish wallpapers, marble bathrooms, and a grandiose lobby featuring tufted velvet lounge chairs and marble columns. The popular bar dates back to pre-Prohibition days, and offers signature cocktails to match. Despite self-proclaimed "luxury" accommodations (and celebrity clientele), the hotel doesn't have a spa -- but guests have access to The Aspen Club & Spa's services, which is a three-minute drive away.

The Sky Hotel sits on prime Aspen property, directly at the bottom of the Silver Queen Gondola with one of the best ski-in/ski-out locations in the valley. The daily wine hour, excellent deck with pool and Jacuzzi, and one of the most happening apres-ski scenes in Aspen make it a fun choice for couples. While rooms are on the small side for the price, they reflect Kimpton’s signature style, with a modern take on lodge decor, and the entire property feels chic and upscale.

Modern furnishings, high-tech amenities, and luxe touches such as designer toiletries give this 45-unit hotel a boutique vibe. The sleek pool deck is especially stylish, with wicker lounge chairs, year-round pool, Jacuzzi, and fire pit. Freebies include breakfast, Wi-Fi, and parking, but the property lacks standard amenities such as an elevator and restaurant. The hotel's location along Main Street is a plus, as restaurants, bars, and ski lifts are all within walking distance.

The Aspen Square Condominium Hotel is a 101-unit property with a homey vibe and a prime downtown location just a two-minute walk from the nearest ski lift. The individually owned condos all come with full kitchens, balconies, and wood-burning fireplaces, but some units could use updates. Highlights include the pool and two Jacuzzis, which are surrounded by elegant fountains, sleek patio furniture, and numerous plants.
