The four-pearl Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate is a well-designed contemporary hotel that offers the prime advantage of a location right on the Biltmore Estate property. The hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool and fitness center, and the surrounding Antler Hill Village area contains a winery, shopping, farmyard, and outdoor adventure center. A restaurant showcasing seasonal seafood is in the hotel, and several more restaurants are located on the estate. The 209 fresh, contemporary guest rooms all come with 42-inch flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, Keurig coffeemakers, free Wi-Fi, and attractive bathrooms stocked with C.O. Bigelow bath products. Those who want a more affordable hotel, not on the estate, but still a short drive away might consider the Baymont Inn & Suites Asheville/Biltmore, which has a free breakfast and indoor pool, but not as many on-site activities or restaurants.

Village Hotel is located a five-minute drive off U.S. Interstate 40, situated in the Antler Hill Village section of the Biltmore Estate property. The village’s winery, playground, outdoor adventure center, and barn are all less than a five-minute walk, and the vast Biltmore Estate can be hiked to in about an hour (guests can also drive there or take the hotel's free shuttle). Venturing outside the estate, the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway is a 10-minute drive, the 19th-century Smith-McDowell House (Asheville’s oldest house) is a 12-minute drive, and the 42-acre Western North Carolina Nature Center zoological park is about 17 minutes by car. The center of Asheville features shopping, dining, galleries, and museums -- it’s a little more than a 15-minute drive, and just north of downtown Asheville is the Montford Area Historic District. North Carolina Arboretum is a 25-minute drive from the hotel, and it takes roughly the same amount to time to reach Asheville Regional Airport.

On-site, there's an outdoor pool, a little more than 10 meters in length, which is open seasonally and situated in a courtyard with large sundeck. The fitness center has several cardio machines and free weights, and guests are given free access to the full-service spa (treatments for a fee) at the nearby The Inn on Biltmore Estate. The Kitchen offers breakfast and lighter lunch items, and the full-service Village Social serves breakfast for a fee, and lunch and dinner menus feature American cuisine, with sustainable seafood as a highlight. The hotel offers games and crafts for kids, plus a business center, meeting room, 24-hour front desk, and free self parking and valet parking (for a fee). Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. A free downtown Asheville shuttle runs on Friday and Saturday and a free daily shuttle makes stops at several points on the estate, including Biltmore House. Off-site at various location on the Biltmore Estate are additional restaurants that serve everything from Southern cuisine to Appalachian comfort food, plus there's a tavern with live music, an afternoon tea spot, and an ice cream parlor.
