Situated in a contemporary building, this upper-middle-range hotel is what you would expect from the Hyatt chain. Interiors are bright and sleek, beginning with the the high ceilings in the inviting and airy lobby that makes a good first impression. White and cream neutral hues dominate, accented by pops of color and patterns, like bright blue armchairs and pillows perking up a seating nook next to a fireplace. One of the highlights here is the rooftop bar, which is wrapped in windows and mixes a darker color scheme with exposed brick elements and wooden furnishings, plus it opens onto a chic panoramic terrace. Guests are a mix of tourists and business travelers.

Convenient downtown Asheville location close to restaurants, bars, and shops

The hotel is situated off the I-240 in downtown Asheville. It's a convenient location that's within a five- to 10-minute walk of lots of foodie restaurants, bars, and cafes.
