Worst Celebrity Hotel Destruction

When was the last time you destroyed a $1200 presidential suite? From loonies like Charlie Sheen to grungy-angry personalities like Johnny Depp, celebs sure know how to party (and pay for it). Maybe if they'd had a Gatorade on their night table, things would have turned out differently. Party on!

Charlie Sheen Trashes New York's Plaza Hotel
Charlie Sheen's recent debauchery at The Plaza Hotel cost him a pretty penny. The allegedly drugged and naked Sheen (just two months out of rehab) frantically trashed his suite in a rage to find his wallet and cellphone after partying with a hooker. Sheen admitted to police that he was in fact drunk and high, after they found tables and chairs thrown around the room and a damaged chandelier. Sheen owed the hotel $7,000.

Johnny Depp Trashes New York's Mark Hotel

The $1200 presidential suite at posh Mark Hotel saw some serious damage after Johnny Depp and his then-girlfriend supermodel Kate Moss got their hands on it. There were reports of shattering glass, snapping wood, and loud domestic squabbling around 5:30 a.m on September 13, 1994. However, police were unable to find the armadillo Depp reportedly blamed the vandalism on. Depp owed the hotel $9,767.

The Rolling Stones Trash West Hollywood's Andaz
The Rolling Stones were probably the best-known hotel-smashing stars. At the L.A. stop of the Rolling Stones' 1972 North American tour, the group checked into room 1015 at the Continental Hyatt House (now The Andaz West Hollywood). Soon after, guitarist Keith Richards and saxophonist Bobby Keyes famously decided to unceremoniously toss the TV off their balcony and into the parking lot below. Watch as they laugh with joy at the site of the smashed tube.

Lindsay Lohan Trashes L.A.'s Shutters On The Beach

Though she's currently officially blacklisted, Lindsay Lohan and then-boyfriend Riley Giles showed their suite room 645 at Shutters on the Beach in Los Angeles why basic hygiene is important. In December of 2007, LiLo and Giles decided to take a detour from Lohan's road to rehab so they could spend three full days trashing the room and drinking the minibar dry. After their departure, reports from the hotel staff included filth everywhere, dirty towels and cigarette butts lying around, the smell of stale smoke, and a bloody syringe on a room service tray.
