Where Celebs Have Gotten Married: From Gorgeous Castles to Beachside Resorts

We've given you the deets on where some of our favorite celebs have wed and where they've spent their honeymoons, as well -- now it's time for round two. Considering Hollywood couples' infamous inability to stay hitched, they certainly go all out for their nuptials! From gorgeous castles to beachside resorts, we're bringing you a photo gallery of the beautiful hotels where stars have said "I do." And fortunately, everyone on our list is still married -- even if its only been a couple weeks of wedded bliss! Check out the five hotels we can now add to our list.

  • Oheka Castle Hotel & Estate; Long Island, NY

Many receptions take place in the hotel's ornate dining room.

Oheka Castle, built in the 1920s as the second largest private residence in the U.S., is a magnificent chateau-style property about an hour from New York City. Today, it's the country’s top wedding venue, and remains one of the most striking properties on the East Coast. Kevin Jonas, of Jonas Brothers fame, wed Danielle Deleasa at the hotel in 2009, and Oheka Castle is no stranger to boy band weddings -- N'Sync member Joey Fatone married Kelly Baldwin at the hotel five years earlier. Not surprisingly, weddings here aren't cheap; the most expensive wedding held at Oheka Castle cost over three million dollars.

  • Ventana Inn & Spa; Big Sur, CA

  • Who wouldn't want to get married with this as the backdrop?

Three million dollars is nothing compared to what Napster and Facebook billionaire Sean Parker threw down for his wedding on June 1. The lavish affair, held at the Ventana Inn & Spa, cost a whopping ten million dollars (plus two and a half million dollars in permit violation fees) and included elaborate custom-made sets --a castle, ruins, and man-made pond -- as well as a wardrobe for the entire wedding guest list, made by an Oscar-winning costume designer, no less. Last year, Natalie Portman said "I do" to her French baby daddy, Benjamin Millepied, at the resort.

  • The Breakers Palm Beach

  • The Breakers has a regal feel for a regal wedding.

The Breakers has a regal feel for a regal wedding.

This sprawling 140-acre resort feels more like a Renaissance palace than a hotel. The oceanfront grounds are defined by historic architecture and elegant landscaping, and the extensive features include five swimming pools, two 18-hole golf courses, 10 tennis courts, and a handful of tasty restaurants. Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh wed Kathryn Rogers (fun fact: she's a direct descendant of John Adams -- and is the fourth Mrs. Limbaugh) at the hotel in 2010 (Elton John performed at the reception), and that same year, Cleveland Indians player Nick Swisher -- at the time, a Yankees man -- married actress Joanna Garcia at the Breakers.

  • Terranea Resort; Ranchos Palos Verde, CA

  • A wedding at sunset sounds just about right.

A wedding at sunset sounds just about right.

One of just a few true mega-resorts in Southern California, the 100-acre Terranea in Rancho Palos Verdes offers a range of features that's unrivaled among Los-Angeles-area properties, including a top-tier spa, nine holes of golf, pools with poolside service, eight restaurants and bars, and gorgeous, manicured grounds. So it's a beautiful spot to say "I do." Two years ago, Bachelor couple Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, one of only two couples from the show to make it down the aisle, had their wedding taped for TV at the resort. Actor Chad Lowe married producer Kim Painter at Terranea six months prior.

  • Ashford Castle; Ireland

  • The Ashford Castle is one of Europe's historic gems.

The Ashford Castle is one of Europe's historic gems.

Ashford Castle embodies the fantasy of the Irish castle hotel, featuring a massive historic stone facade, complete with towers and turrets; gorgeous, manicured grounds; a stunning setting on a huge lake; and common spaces that are truly grand, with rich wood paneling, chandeliers, and antique furniture. It's no wonder Mr. Smooth himself -- former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan -- chose the castle to be the site of his wedding back in 2001. Just last month, Brosnan spoke fondly of the big day, saying "It was a mighty, mighty day. It was great. It was beyond words romantic." We bet!
