Vampire Lovers: Watch True Blood in HD Free at Professor Thom's in NYC

Season three of True Blood is… well, about as bloody, gory, sexy and fang-tastic as it gets. For die-hard fans, missing a new episode on Sunday night bites (no pun intended). So if you're just dying to catch the latest episode during your visit to New York City, swing by Professor Thom's Bar & Restaurant on 2nd Avenue and 14th Street to watch for free.

    True Blood at Thom's:

Head to the lounge on the second floor, a.k.a. "the Loft". With a unique saloon-like atmosphere, Professor Thom's has several high-definition TVs mounted on the walls -- and don't worry, you'll catch every word with the restaurant's surround-sound system. Quick tip: Arrive before 8:30 p.m. to score chairs because the space fills up quickly.

    Grab a Bite:

Professor Thom's boasts a full dinner menu with items like cobb salads and chicken sandwiches. If you like to snack while you watch True Blood, check out the wide array of appetizers on starters portion of the menu. Quick tip:** Order the Nachos de Tomas. You'll get a huge tray full of chips, salsa, guacamole, sour cream and jalapeños for only $8.95**

    Quench Your Thirst:

Professor Thom's has a full bar upstairs, so if you're a cocktail person, this is the place for you. If your drink of choice is draught beer or cider, the bar has a unique menu of fruit beers, regular beers, and draught cider for the tasting. Quick tip: Try the Ephemere apple beer, 12 oz. at $6. Made from Granny Smith and McIntosh apples, this beer is the perfect refreshing summer drink. Not into fruit beer? Radeberger is a safe bet -- a crisp German pilsner with a tangy aroma, $6.

Stay near Professor Thom's in the East Village at The Cooper Square Hotel or The Bowery Hotel.
