The Beverly Hills Hotel Just Got Even MORE Luxe. Seriously.
-
Some key elements were maintained...
-
But the pool patio got a major upgrade...
-
Restaurants received a refresh...
-
And rooms got a SERIOUS makeover!
Opening in 1912, before the city of Beverly Hills even existed, The Beverly Hills Hotel established itself as one of Los Angeles' top luxury properties. Back in the day, its popular Polo Lounge attracted the likes of Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor, and stars such as Marilyn Monroe lived in the hotel's bungalows for months at a time. Nowadays, just as many celebrities pass through the hotel's doors and down its iconic banana leaf motifs in the hallways. But even though The Beverly Hills Hotel has always been luxe, it just got even MORE glamorous with renovations to the restaurants and pool area, as well as the rooms in 2014. Take a look below at some of the hotel's most chi-chi spaces, as well as before-and-after room photos. Then be sure to read our fully updated review -- with nearly 1,000 new photos!!
While renovations were extensive, they maintained classic elements for which the hotel is known, including the banana leaf motifs in the hallways.
And the signature pink throughout.
With fresh loungers and umbrellas…
As well as ultra-luxe, private cabanas equipped with seating areas, large flat-screen TVs, and personalized service.
With updated decor that nonetheless matches the look from before, like at the poolside Cabana Cafe.
And the iconic Polo Lounge.
This is how they looked BEFORE…
And THIS is AFTER!
BEFORE…
and AFTER!
