Sea World's Halloween Spooktacular!
Sea World's Halloween Spooktacular is a fun Halloween event geared towards young children. Special candy stands are set up throughout the park, and children are given a map to help find all of the Treasure Stations, each offering a different type of goody.
At Bayside stadium we had the chance to decorate our own cookies. For a small fee, children receive a purple lunch box filled with one pumpkin shaped cookie, a container of icing and a container of treats such as gummy worms and sprinkles, and apple juice to help wash it down.
After the cookie decorating we walked down to Abby Cadabby's area and experienced the sensory maze. We helped the fairy, Abby, find her magic wand, and then had the chance to take a picture with her.
The Spooktacular event features a number of shows, such as the Sesame Street Countdown To Halloween, and Clyde & Seamore's Trick-or-Treat show at Sea Lion & Otter stadium.
Before we left my kids took the chance to dance at the Frozen Fun Zone with characters like Shamu and a Puffin. The blue-tinted ice DJ rocked out with today's biggest hits and led the kids in different dances and activities.
Sea World's Halloween Spooktacular takes place on weekends until October 31st and is included in your general admission fee. If you are looking for a hotel near the park, be sure to check out The Peabody. Twice a day they have a duck march, and if your kids enjoyed Sea World they'll get a real kick out of this attraction.
