The highly-anticipated "Entourage" hits theaters next Wednesday, June 3. We can't wait! Of course, often with these things, the movie is never quite as good as the TV series, but we're certainly going to check it out -- and you don't need to pay us $10,000 to do so.
As we've been counting down the days to the film's release, we've been reflecting on the many hotels that have made appearances throughout the show's eight seasons. And there have been many, many, many. Take a look at the Los Angeles hot spots where the crew has hung out by the pool, partied at the bar, and stayed in the penthouse suite.
Then, after you check it out in theaters, let us know which hotels you notice in the movie! We hear word that the boys spend a significant amount of time on the Miami scene, so we're sure one of our fave hotels down south will make an appearance.
The Hollywood Roosevelt probably makes the most appearances of any hotel in the "Entourage" series. The crew frequents the Tropicana Pool Cafe and Bar often, and in the Season 7 episode "Lose Yourself," Vince does "lose himself" with the help of alcohol and cocaine in his hotel room, and then attends a party hosted by Eminem (hence the episode's title) in the hotel lobby. During the show's final season, the entourage shacks up in the Roosevelt's penthouse suite.
In Season 3, Vince temporarily lives here after selling his house in order to buy the rights to a film's script. And it's not too shabby a spot to live: This ornately designed Sunset Strip hotel has an exclusive poolside lounge and polished, sexy rooms. Eric (E) meets his girlfriend's best friend at The Standard, Downtown LA during the same season, and Drama hangs upside-down from the balcony overlooking the pool at The Standard.
The boys logged quite a few hours at the Beverly Wilshire, meeting with producers and financiers (fittingly so considering the location), during Season 3 as well. This iconic Beverly Hills hotel is a top luxury pick for business or leisure, families or romance. With beautiful guest rooms, a Wolfgang Puck restaurant (which got plenty of air time), and a great spa, pool, and fitness center, it's hard to find fault.
Another place the boys enjoy dining is Simon LA at the Sofitel in West Hollywood. This neighborhood is where quite a few of their shenanigans go down; for poolside partying, it's the W Westwood, and for hitting on ex-girlfriend's ex-stepmothers, the entourage (or E, at least) prefers The London West Hollywood.
Season 8, the final season, was no different than the others in showing its love for hip L.A. hotels. True to form, Vince turns an interview into an opportunity to flirt at the SLS Hotel, and the same episode shows his love interest du jour making her way through the Montage Beverly Hills. The Redbury makes a cameo in "The Big Bang" episode.
