The Tuvana Hotel is an upscale boutique situated in an 18th century mansion. There are only 46 rooms so guests are provided topnotch service. Elegant rooms feature local textiles and wooden beams, plus quality amenities that range from flat-screen TVs to minibars and kettles -- but past complaints about air-conditioning. Good thing there’s a lovely pool in a courtyard filled with fruit trees. A free breakfast and three restaurants and a bar on-site provide plenty of dining options for any guest during their stay. The hotel is centrally located in the historic city of Antalya, making it easy to reach all main attractions in a 10-minute walk or less. The nearby Hotel Aspen is a good alternative with the added benefit of a sauna on-site.
Scene
18th-century historic hotel with lovely outdoor spaces and trendy dining spots
Tuvana Hotel is an 18th century mansion that consists of six buildings that were once the home to an Ottoman officer. In 1989, the hotel underwent careful historical renovations to create the charming and elegant boutique it is today. Stone walls and terraces allude to the historic nature of the hotel, while adding just the right contrast to plants and fruit trees found throughout the outdoor spaces. The wood ceiling, printed fabrics, and the antique furniture of the lobby provides a first glimpse into the property’s elegant design that extends to the rooms. The restaurants and bar break from the historic mold to feature modern, hip decor. For instance, the bar features exposed stone walls, but colorful metal chairs. The bar has a rustic display of alcohol on shelves that reflect the light of chic bulbs hanging from the ceiling. The sophisticated design throughout gives off a romantic vibe, so it’s no surprise that most guests are couples.

Built in the Kaleici District in the heart of the Old City, it’s easy to get from the hotel to Antalya’s most famous attractions on foot. The Clock Tower and Tekeli Mehmet Pasa Mosque take two minutes to reach in foot. Hadrian’s Castle Gate is a six-minute walk away. It’s an eight-minute walk to the harbor. There are plenty of other attractions and lots of dining options within a 10-minute walk away, making the hotel’s location a top-selling feature. It’s a 21-minute drive to the Antalya Airport.
Rooms
Elegant and historic-focused rooms with flat-screen TVs, minibars, and kettles
Rooms at Tuvana Hotel are thoughtfully decorated to feature an elegant and somewhat historic Turkish style with upscale antique furnishings and rich silk and velour fabrics. All rooms vary slightly in design but commonly include aspects like wood floors and lovely hanging lamps or chandeliers. It’s not uncommon to see sophisticated floral designs on bed runners or chairs. In-room amenities include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars, safes, and kettles. There’s air-conditioning as well, but some complain it’s not strong enough to cool the rooms efficiently. Some rooms have balconies and others allow for smoking. Upper-level rooms receive even more perks like free bottled water, free Koc Museum entry, fruit and wine baskets, and one-way airport transfers. Like the rooms, bathrooms vary in design but are similarly upscale. Some have cabin-style showers and others have shower/jetted tub combos. Toiletries and hairdryers are provided.
