When the owners bought the property, they had archeological surveys done, and stripped off many eras of cement to reveal the unique structure of the original building, including an array of 16th century columns that line the picturesque central patio. The sound of trickling water from fountains adds to the serene vibe, and the mixture of styles (Andalucian, Moorish, and Roman) lends a romantic spirit to the place. The Viento 10 feels homey, yet polished and sophisticated.

Each room is individually designed and decorated, and many are long and narrow, with separate seating areas that include comfortable chaise-like sofa beds and wall-mounted flat-screen TVs. Everything is stylish and white, with colorful accents of lilac and silver, cream and gold, and other interesting color combinations. Headboards are large canvases painted by Spanish textile artist, Rocio Moreno. Bathrooms are gorgeous with rainfall showers and designer toiletries, lilac glass partitions, and floors of silver or gold-flecked cement. Views of the patio are lovely, but some street views are unremarkable.
