The budget-friendly Sleep Inn Nashville Airport is housed in an unremarkable tan building that’s standard for this hotel chain. Guests are greeted by a homey, if bland, lobby that has a long, dark wood reception desk, white tile floors, and olive and mustard walls contrasted by a bright orange accent wall festooned with floral designs. There’s a small sitting nook furnished with a brown couch and mustard armchairs as well as a desktop computer comprising the business center. The mustard and orange color scheme extends to the small breakfast room where an orange accent wall is paired with wooden tables topped with orange flowers and upholstered chairs. The hotel attracts mostly families and couples, though with its proximity to the airport, business travelers are frequent guests as well. 

Nashville International Airport is a nine-minute drive away from the hotel. Most Nashville attractions are best reached by car, such as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Music City Center, Music Row, and the Grand Ole Opry, which are all about a 15- to 20-minute drive. There’s a variety of dining options on surrounding streets and a late night sports bar that’s a five-minute walk from the hotel. 

Rooms are fairly small in size and have the option of full, double full, queen, or king beds. The spaces feature homey, contemporary decor with white linens and blue floral runners on beds as well as rustic headboards against orange accent walls decorated with black and white photography. Simple, dark wood furniture includes work desks and wardrobes, plus all rooms have beige armchairs. Overall, decor is pleasant, though fairly chainlike. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, mini-fridges, and microwaves. The color scheme extends to the small bathrooms, where orange accent walls are paired with granite-topped vanities, gray tile floors, small showers, and wall-mounted hairdryers. Rollaway beds are not available at this hotel, and complaints have been made concerning bothersome noise from the street and the nearby sports bar. 

The hotel offers a number of family-friendly features such as an outdoor pool (open seasonally) surrounded by a sundeck lined with lounge chairs and an umbrella-shaded table. A free hot breakfast buffet is served daily, though guests have noted that the breakfast room is small and doesn’t offer a lot of seating options. The tiny fitness center has three cardio machines and a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. There's a small business area in the lobby with a computer, plus Wi-Fi is free throughout, but complaints have been made about slow connectivity. Guests can also make use of a coin-operated laundry room and free on-site parking.
