9 Budget-Friendly Hotels in Nashville for $100/Night

Nashville is one of the hottest destinations in the country right now; and once a city is officially dubbed a “hot spot,” it almost always means one thing – it’s going to cost you (big time) to visit. Here’s the proof: The average cost of a night’s stay in a Nashville hotel room increased by 15 percent between 2013 and 2014. That’s well above the national average increase in hotel rates for that year, and yet it seems this expensive trend in Music City isn’t stopping anytime soon.

But fortunately, that doesn’t mean you need to shelve your plans to head to the land of hot country and hot chicken, because there are some hotels where you can find a solid bang-for-your buck. Here are nine budget-friendly Nashville hotels with price tags of just about $100/night.

Rates are based on May dates.

1. Hotel Preston

The Preston is a well-maintained,
affordable boutique hotel with trendy charm. The three-and-a-half pearl
property is perfect for the business traveler who wants to be minutes from the
Nashville Airport or I-40 and use the large event rooms. For $100/night, guest
rooms are quiet and visitors can get their country groove on in the huge bar
that showcases live music.

2. BEST WESTERN Plus Belle Meade Inn & Suites

The Best Western Plus Belle Meade Inn &
Suites
is a
well-maintained, mid-range hotel off Interstate 40 with average nightly rates
just about $100. Its 57 traditionally styled rooms were renovated in 2014, and
include suites with sitting areas, and granite and marble touches in the
bathrooms, some of which have whirlpool tubs. All rooms come with microwaves
and mini-fridges, and a free hot breakfast is included in the room rate. The
hotel has a large outdoor L-shaped pool, a small fitness center, a business
center, and free Wi-Fi throughout. Be aware that the hotel is on a heavily
trafficked street, and rooms facing the interstate pick up some road noise,
although it’s not excessive.

3. Radisson Hotel Nashville Airport

The 180-room Radisson Hotel Nashville Airport is a mid-range property within
a 10-minute drive of the Nashville Airport. Rooms are neutral and predictable,
with nice touches including pillow-top beds, mini-fridges, and microwaves —
making them a solid value for their rates just over $100/night. There is an
indoor pool that gets plenty of natural light, and freebies include an airport
shuttle, parking, and Wi-Fi. This property also has a convenient restaurant
that serves a hot buffet breakfast, as well as decent pub food for lunch and
dinner.

4. Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Nashville

The two-pearl Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham

and Wi-Fi are free, plus there’s an outdoor pool – and you can’t beat the $71/night
rates.

5. Comfort Inn Downtown Nashville

This budget chain hotel is on the edge of Nashville’s
downtown, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and sights like Music
Row, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. The 145 guest rooms, all of which are
entered through an exterior corridor, come with flat-screen TVs and
mini-fridges, but decor is a bit late ’90s. Rates hover a little above
$100/night. The hotel has an outdoor pool, a modest fitness center, a free
breakfast with hot and cold items, and free Wi-Fi throughout.

6. GuestHouse Inn & Suites Nashville/Music Valley

The two-pearl GuestHouse Inn & Suites Nashville/Music
City
is a
budget-friendly hotel with 184 spacious rooms offering mini-fridges,
microwaves, and coffeemakers for $100/night. However, rooms have dark decor,
budget furnishings need updating, and past guests report various housekeeping
and maintenance issues. Features include an indoor pool, a lounge with nightly
live music, free parking, free breakfast, and a free shuttle service to both
the nearby Gaylord Opryland Resort and to the airport.

7. Sleep Inn Nashville Airport

The value Sleep Inn Nashville Airport is a nine-minute drive to the
airport, making it a budget-friendly and convenient option for business
travelers and tourist flying in and out of Nashville who only want to spend
$72/night on a hotel. The property has an outdoor pool and offers free
breakfast. Though it has a fitness center and a business center, both are small
in size. Its 58 rooms are modern with homey decor and amenities like
flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and microwaves.

in the room rate.
